Job summary

Berkeley Hospitality Llc's Aiden by Best Western in Berkeley is seeking a positive Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest service. The Front Desk Agent will assist guests with check-in/check-out, issue room keys, and process payments, coordinating with housekeeping to ensure room availability.

We welcome candidates with open availability, including overnight shifts. Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure are essential for providing a superior guest experience

Qualifications

• Friendly and polite personality.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Computer literacy.
• Able to resolve issues with a customer-focused orientation.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to lift 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hotel operations and activities.
• Take reservations and answer questions via phone, email, and in-person.
• Build rapport with guests and identify their needs through friendly conversation.
• Describe features and amenities of guest rooms.
• Ensure compliance with health and quality standards.
• Assist with laundry duties during downtime.
