City of Abilene, Texas is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative for the City’s recreation center. You will be the first point of contact, handling check-ins, registrations, and general inquiries, ensuring smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.

You will support e-gaming activities, assist with equipment setup, login troubleshooting, and coordinate with staff to maintain safety and cleanliness. This entry-level role requires flexibility and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; prior customer service preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat or cold.

Responsabilités

• Perform set-up, tear-down, and clean up for programs and rentals, including set up/take down of tables and chairs and equipment.
• Understand event details and timelines.
• Maintain a flexible schedule with possible changes due to weather, attendance, and department needs.
• Greet and direct rental contacts.
• Provide customer service support for e-gaming activities, including equipment setup, logins, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain, inspect, clean, inventory, and follow policies for equipment and spaces.
• Handle customer situations to ensure guest satisfaction with rentals.
• Operate a City or personal vehicle to visit other locations, attend meetings and events.
