Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking a Front Desk Clerk under the direction of the Front Desk Manager. You will accurately rate rooms and keep the room rack updated at all times.

The role requires strong mathematical skills, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and excellent guest service. You will respond to guest requests, assist with video check-out, and help ensure accurate room rates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Front desk/hotel experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check out vacant rooms and update room statuses.
• Run alert date reports.
• Review out-of-order and off-market rooms daily for validity.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest requests.
• Respond to guests checking out via video check-out.
• Offer bell assistance to guests and run applicable reports to verify room rates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
