Job summary

Running Y Resort in Oregon seeks a Front Desk Agent to warmly greet guests, manage check-in/out, and handle requests with courtesy. You will verify payments, post charges, and coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless stay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred front office experience in hotel, leisure and/or retail sectors.
• Ability to work well with others and deliver exceptional guest service.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic math and prior cash handling experience.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to stand during long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct guests at check-in and throughout stay in a warm, inviting manner.
• Handle special requests quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
• Complete Daily Shift Checklist and ensure accurate billing and reservations.
• Verify payment methods for third-party bookings and process deposits.
• Post charges to guest folios for shop, golf, spa, and restaurant.
• Answer phones within 3 rings and manage reservations.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Maintain front desk and lobby order and cleanliness.
• Adhere to all cash-handling and credit card policies.
