Job summary

LACMA is seeking a Visitor Services Associate (Temporary, Part-Time) to work front-of-house at the Ticket Office and in the museum. You will process admissions, memberships, and donations while delivering outstanding guest service to diverse visitors.

Responsibilities include promoting the membership program, handling payments, and providing accurate information about art works and exhibitions. Flexibility for holidays, nights, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a high-volume, customer-service environment.
• Preferred background in Art History.
• Proficient in ticketing software; Tessitura experience preferred.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including holidays, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to guests front-of-house.
• Promote and support LACMA membership program.
• Manage register and process payments for tickets, memberships, donations.
• Provide gallery support and communicate art-specific details.
• Refer service concerns to Visitor Services Leadership team.
• Attend scheduled trainings as required.
