Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is seeking a Guest Services Agent to deliver exceptional front desk service across our U.S. properties. You will greet guests, manage check-ins, handle reservations, and assist with guest inquiries during shifts.

The role requires strong communication, basic math, and cash handling skills, with prior hotel or retail experience preferred. Morning, evening, weekends, and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required; written and spoken communication essential.
• Proficient in basic math, budgeting, and variance concepts.
• Strong problem solving and organizational abilities.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera has added value.
• ServSafe certification may be required; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue keys, and provide hotel information.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Process cash and card transactions per procedures; balance reports.
• Maintain security of cash, cards, and guest data.
• Assist with reservations and up-sell to maximize revenue.
• Follow seasonal reservation strategy for pricing and occupancy.
• Coordinate with shifts and departments to ensure service quality.
• Support guest services across front desk operations.
