Job summary

Global Partners LP in Newport, NH seeks a Guest Service Supervisor to supervise staff, maintain guest satisfaction, and ensure smooth store operations. You will oversee daily tasks, coach team members, greet guests, and uphold company policies.

This role requires flexibility for day, night, weekends and holidays, with a wage range of $17.66–$20.87 per hour. The GSS will manage cash, POS, safety standards, and dependable store upkeep while delivering a great shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in retail or guest services preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff to ensure management-approved duties are followed.
• Coach employees with constructive feedback.
• Greet guests and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Follow safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate POS; maintain cash levels with supervised staff.
• Complete store housekeeping (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, trash).
• Ensure 24/7 execution of guest service programs.
• Handle cash processes: deposits, lottery, gift cards, checks where applicable.
• Replenish products to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
