Job summary

Palette Hotels is seeking a Server who will serve food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, upholding the brand's high standards. You will greet guests, assist with table settings, and ensure guests’ satisfaction while adhering to safety and liquor regulations.

In this role you’ll work closely with a friendly team, respond promptly to requests, perform side work, and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area to support an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain any government-required licenses or certificates.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Service orientation and customer service principles.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to guest requests promptly and efficiently.
• Set up tables with linen, service ware, and glassware.
• Attend pre-shift meetings to discuss service and hotel expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests quickly and courteously.
• Serve food and beverages per supervisor's directions.
• Bus dishes promptly after courses or at end of the meal.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Restock stations and perform side work.
• General cleaning to adhere to health standards.
• Abide by liquor regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
