Job summary

The Fresh Market seeks a Guest Service Specialist in Memphis to be the front-end ambassador, delivering exceptional hospitality and smooth cash operations. You’ll guide guest flow, assist cashiers, and uphold cash controls while ensuring a welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include educating guests on products, supporting digital orders, maintaining cleanliness, and minimizing product loss while leading by example in teamwork and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, grocery, restaurant or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Educate guests on products, services, and meal solutions.
• Direct and support cashiers to ensure frictionless checkout experiences.
• Uphold cash office procedures and controls (cash, keys, safe).
• Direct the guest service team to maintain front-end sanitation and restrooms.
• Support digital fulfillment orders with speed and accuracy.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach throughout the store.
• Assist in inventory management and team to minimize product loss.
