Job summary

The Fresh Market seeks a Guest Service Specialist to lead front-end hospitality, manage guest flow, and oversee cash operations. You will model efficiency, merchandising of displays, and ensure audits are followed to leave guests with an exceptional impression.

Required are 2+ years in relevant retail/hospitality roles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Weekend shifts and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organization skills and the ability to multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible example of hospitality, educating guests and team members on products and services.
• Manage frontend guest flow and efficiency by directing and supporting cashiers.
• Execute and uphold cash office procedures and controls, including cash handling and securing the safe.
• Direct the guest service team on schedule to maintain sanitation and cleanliness at the front end and restrooms.
• Support digital fulfillment orders with speed, accuracy, and brand adherence.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach throughout the store.
• Assist in managing the department, inventories, and team to minimize product loss.
