Job summary

Kj’s Market in Georgia is hiring for a Front Porch Guest Service Clerk/Store Support role. You will maintain guest service standards, train hosts, manage cash-related tasks, and ensure security of cash office while supervising daily porch operations.

The position requires strong communication, customer service skills, and the ability to stand for long periods. This is a fast-paced role in a family-owned grocery environment focused on smiles and hometown pride.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of front porch operations.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Demonstrate successful use of math skills.
• Ability to work well with computers.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Guest Service Standards as described in policy.
• Coordinate schedule with Store Manager and Guest Service Manager to meet service levels.
• Train cashiers to call hosts to the front porch per guest needs.
• Handle guest and host requests, refunds, loans, pickups, voids, and approvals promptly.
• Keep front porch and parking lot clean and organized.
• Act as a positive role model in speech, dress, hygiene and integrity.
• Ensure unused check lanes are blocked off when not in use.
• Monitor and enforce front porch policies related to Asset Protection and Shrink Control.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
