Zusammenfassung

IGA Southeast is hiring for a Front Porch Host / Guest Service Clerk. You will maintain guest service standards, train hosts, manage cash and invoices, and ensure the front porch and parking area are clean and secure. You will work with the Store Manager to schedule staffing and address guest requests promptly.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and basic math and computer skills. You must be at least 18 years old and able to stand for long periods in a fast-paced store

Qualifikationen

• Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of front porch operations.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Demonstrate successful use of math skills.
• Ability to work well with computers.

Aufgaben

• Maintenance of Guest Service Standards.
• Ensure front porch standards are met at all times.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to schedule adequate service levels.
• Train cashiers to call additional hosts as needed.
• Handle guest requests, refunds, loans, pickups, and check approvals promptly.
• Keep front porch and parking area clean and orderly.
• Model professional speech, dress, hygiene and integrity.
• Block unused check lanes when not in use.
• Enforce front porch policies related to Asset Protection and Shrink Control.
• Provide training and direction to hosts not meeting standards.
• Communicate issues to guest service manager and problem areas.
• Offer constant on-the-job feedback to maintain service levels.
• Prepare weekly cash reports and related documentation.
• Maintain sales-related information and process invoices and beer/wine payments.
• Maintain accurate daily cash counts and handle guest needs such as money orders and stamps.
