Job summary

Piccadilly Cafeteria is seeking a Guest Assistant to provide friendly, efficient service and support the team on the service line. You will greet guests, prepare orders, and ensure accurate portions while keeping the counter clean and stocked.

The role involves sustaining food safety, assisting with beverage prep during openings, and aiding in closing procedures. Training for new staff is also part of the duties, with emphasis on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Guest service experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take/prepare orders with accuracy.
• Serve food items in proper portions and maintain serving line.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitize counter; stock dishes and utensils.
• Monitor food levels and temperatures; assist with transfers from kitchen to serving counter.
• Assist in opening shifts with beverage prep and counter setup; close shifts with cleanup and restocking.
• Train new guest assistants on procedures, portions, and pricing structures.
• Respond to guest questions about menu items and ingredients.
