Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. (CSI) is hiring for a cashier/food-service role at our Santa Nella, CA location. The position emphasizes guest service, accurate POS transactions, and adherence to CSI safety and food-handling standards.

You will handle cash, maintain cleanliness, prepare food and beverages, and support store promotions while working a variety of shifts. Prior cooking/restaurant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English to understand CSI policies and communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Available to work varied hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Must possess up-to-date food handling certificates as required by law.
• Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and greet customers with eye contact.
• Conduct all point-of-sale transactions accurately and safely.
• Maintain cash drawer and perform shift-end reconciliation.
• Perform station cleaning of indoor and outdoor facilities including restrooms, pumps and car wash.
• Prepare food and hot beverages; manage ExtraMile/KKC items to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Actively promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Cross-check prices of delivered goods for accuracy.
• Distribute delivered goods to shelves and coolers; keep displays full.
• May perform other duties as assigned by management.
