Job summary

The Warbler Hotel in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Guest Service Associate to join our front desk ahead of the September 2026 opening. This part-time role reports to the Guest Service Supervisor and offers hourly pay of $17.00 with non-exempt status.

You will welcome guests, manage reservations and guest accounts, handle inquiries and complaints, and work with Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant hospitality experience.
• Strong communication skills and composure under pressure.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Authorized to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in guests warmly and efficiently.
• Manage reservations, guest accounts, and PMS accuracy.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with follow-through.
• Build knowledge of the hotel, restaurant, bars, and neighborhood.

The Warbler is a new 58-room boutique hotel opening on New Orleans’ historic St. Charles Avenue, home to Mildred’s Restaurant & Bar, a café, and a rooftop bar. Learn more at thewarblerhotel.com. We’re hiring a Guest Service Associate to help welcome guests and run our Front Desk ahead of our September 2026 opening — reporting to the Guest Service Supervisor.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome and check in guests with warmth, efficiency, and genuine attention to detail
• Manage reservations, guest accounts, and property management system accuracy
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with follow-through
• Build real knowledge of the hotel, its restaurant and bars, and the surrounding neighborhood
• Support Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B to keep the guest experience seamless
