Job summary

The Warbler Hotel in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Facilities Associate to help keep the property running ahead of its September 2026 opening, reporting to the Chief Engineer.

You’ll perform repairs, conduct preventative maintenance, care for the grounds and pool, and coordinate with Guest Services and Housekeeping to ensure room readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of general building maintenance experience or equivalent trade
• Vocational school certification preferred
• Hotel or boutique property experience is a plus

The Warbler is a new 58-room boutique hotel opening on New Orleans’ historic St. Charles Avenue, home to Mildred’s Restaurant & Bar, a café, and a rooftop bar. Learn more at thewarblerhotel.com. We’re hiring a Facilities Associate to help keep the property running ahead of our September 2026 opening — reporting to the Chief Engineer.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• Minimum one year of general building maintenance experience or equivalent trade profession experience
• Vocational school certification preferred
• Hotel or boutique/lifestyle property experience is a plus
• Comfort with physical work: walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays; must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation & Job Type

$19.00 per hour | Full-Time | Hourly (Non-Exempt) | New Orleans, LA
