The Guest Services Agent at Skyview Los Alamos is the first and often the final impression of the guest experience, as well as a responsive team member throughout their stay. Responsibilities include completing administrative duties and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role requires adherence to brand standards through extensive front desk training on SOPs and other systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Learn training manuals, checklists, and SOPs.
• Describe the hotel, room types, and amenities accurately.
• Maintain guest information confidentiality and verify identity.
• Ensure cleanliness of guest-facing areas.
• Utilize systems to prepare for guests and follow up on notes and actions.
• Check in guests according to SOPs, providing a personable experience.
• Check out guests accurately and with a friendly farewell.
• Follow SOPs for lost & found items and mailing information.
• Identify maintenance needs proactively.
• Report urgent maintenance issues to management.
• Promote sales of rooms, upgrades, and packages effectively.
• Communicate stock levels of retail, minibar, and supplies.
• Maintain professional correspondence via email, text, and shift pass alongs.
• Anticipate operational issues and suggest solutions.
• Develop professionally during shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, reach, stoop, bend, lift, and clean during shifts. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.

Proof of identity and legal work authorization in the U.S. required upon employment.
