Position Summary:
The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Guest Service Representative creates a warm, welcoming environment for our guests, offers creative solutions for unique celebratory occasions, and sells our delicious cakes. The Guest Service Representative is the first point of brand contact in our bakery and plays a vital role in engaging guests, creating memorable experiences, and leaving positive impressions. This role embodies NbC's core values and demonstrates a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, excellence, and efficiency.
This position is remote in Michigan City, IN, at our new indoor kiosk location at Lighthouse Premium Outlets. Currently, open days are Friday to Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm.
Accountabilities/Duties:
- Promptly greet walk-in and phone guests with warmth and helpful enthusiasm, determine their needs, and follow NbC Sweet Steps of Service to ensure a superior guest experience.
- Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cakes, including distinctions, sizes, flavors, pricing, promotions, and retail merchandise.
- Process guest orders efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system and invite guests to join NbC Email Club for promotions and updates.
- Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation, including routine cleaning tasks.
- Follow all health, safety, and company policies, including dress code and personal hygiene standards.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
