Pay Range

Role Overview

Guest Service Agent: Greet, register, and serve guests in a friendly and courteous manner according to hotel/brand and sustainability standards.

Career Path

Potential advancement to Front Desk Supervisor, Sales Coordinator, Front Office Manager, or Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately and assist with their needs.
• Register guests and assign rooms.
• Establish payment methods and verify credit.
• Make and confirm reservations.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change.
• Transmit and receive messages using telephones or PMS system.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Resolve guest complaints or escalate as needed.
• Secure guest valuables in hotel safes.
• Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts.
• Monitor and improve guest satisfaction scores.
• Follow sustainability practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits and follow OSHA standards.
• Assist in breakfast area or with luggage during peak times.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience or training required.
• Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Work Environment

• Varied schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and other physical activities.
