The newly renovated DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown Capitol is seeking a Part-Time Guest Service Agent to join the Front Office Team. The hotel features 195 suites and over 5,000 sq ft of function space. Benefits include a comprehensive package, complimentary parking, free meals during shifts, and Hilton room discounts worldwide. What will I be doing?

As a Guest Services Agent, responsibilities include greeting and registering guests, checking guests out, and ensuring outstanding service and profitability. Specific tasks:

  1. Greet guests, complete registration, input and retrieve information, confirm details, assign rooms, code electronic keys, promote marketing, provide welcome packets, and assist with room location or bell service.
  2. Assist with check-out, ensure accurate billing, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, convert currency, and manage gift certificates.
  3. Maintain knowledge of hotel offerings, local area, and answer guest inquiries.
  4. Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
  5. Respond to guest requests and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
  6. Handle guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions for satisfaction.
  7. Manage messages and communication with guests.
