The newly renovated DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown Capitol is seeking a Part-Time Guest Service Agent to join the Front Office Team. The hotel features 195 all-suite rooms and over 5,000 square feet of function space. What will I be doing?

As a Guest Services Agent, your responsibilities include greeting and registering guests, checking guests out, and ensuring a high standard of guest service and profitability. Specific tasks include:

• Greeting guests, completing the registration process, inputting and retrieving information, confirming details, selecting rooms, coding keys, promoting marketing programs, and providing welcome packets.
• Assisting with check-out procedures, managing payments, processing credit/debit cards, handling foreign currency, and recording transactions.
• Demonstrating knowledge of hotel offerings, local area, and answering guest inquiries.
• Upselling hotel services and facilities to maximize occupancy.
• Responding to guest requests and resolving issues promptly and courteously.
• Handling guest complaints, conducting research, and negotiating solutions for guest satisfaction.
• Receiving and relaying messages to guests.
