Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Security Key Control Officer to manage keys, locks, and related assets while delivering top‑tier guest service. The role includes security ambassador duties, incident reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration with casino operations.

You will greet guests, monitor access, enforce age & conduct rules, respond to emergencies, and support money and asset transport under safe, compliant procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to write reports.
• Ability to use a telephone properly.
• Ability to read and understand memos.
• Ability to multi task.
• Good customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment
• Ability to be alert at all times.
• Dexterity will be required to perform day to day activities and during an emergency.

Responsibilities

• Store, issue, repair, inventory and report on keys and locks.
• Greet guests and provide a warm welcome.
• Check IDs and enforce age and safety rules.
• Explain casino/hotel rules and code of conduct.
• Interact professionally with guests and staff.
• Assist with disputes, intoxicated subjects and incidents.
• Notify supervisors of unusual events or crimes.
• Respond to medical or fire emergencies.
• Operate the Security Dispatch Office and two-way radio.
• Maintain visitor and vendor logs and monitor access.
• Control traffic in valet and parking areas.
• Investigate injuries and incidents and write first reports.
• Assist in transporting money, chips, tokens, and markers.
• Identify safety hazards and ensure guest and staff safety.
