Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Security Ambassador to act as the eyes and ears of the property, greeting guests, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies with calm professionalism.

You will check IDs, monitor access, assist guests, and coordinate with supervisors to maintain safety and a welcoming environment across 300,000+ sq ft of gaming and entertainment space. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–2 years security experience with focus on guest service preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.
• Must initiate Guard Card process within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome.
• Check IDs; deny entry to under-21s or unauthorized/prohibited individuals.
• Explain casino rules, regulations, and code of conduct.
• Interact professionally with guests; provide assistance and directions.
• Assist with disputes, intoxicated subjects, and incidents; escalate as needed.
• Notify supervisor or management of unusual events or crimes.
• Respond to medical or fire emergencies.
• Staff Employee/Visitor Entrance and log visitors/vendors.
• Monitor guest and team member movement in dining and gaming areas.
• Control traffic in valet and parking areas.
• Document and investigate injuries when applicable.
• Assist in transporting money, chips, tokens, and markers.
• Report safety hazards; ensure guest and team member safety.
