Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, AZ is seeking a vigilant Security Officer for full-time, on-site duty. You will patrol the property, control access, and respond to emergencies to keep guests and staff safe. The role requires 1–3 years hotel security experience, ability to stay calm under pressure, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel security or a related field preferred (1-3 years).
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of security systems, safety regulations, and emergency response protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to team member entrances and hotel premises.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify safety hazards and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Respond to emergencies following established procedures and document actions taken.
• Maintain logs for visits and packages; inspect packages for security.
• Enforce hotel policies; interact professionally with guests and staff.
• Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activity; coordinate with management on safety issues.
• Manage lost and found items and participate in safety training.
