Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson seeks a vigilant Security Officer to protect guests, staff, and property across the luxury resort. Patrols, monitors access, responds to incidents, and maintains logs to ensure safety and incident transparency.

The role requires calm decision-making, strong observation, and clear communication with guests and team members. Prior security or hospitality experience preferred; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to team member entrances and public areas.
• Perform regular hotel patrols to identify safety hazards.
• Respond to emergencies following established procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs of visitor access and security incidents.
• Inspect packages and monitor security system alerts.
• Document incidents and actions taken for accountability.
• Enforce hotel policies and ensure a respectful environment for guests and staff.
• Interact professionally with guests to address concerns and enhance safety.
• Assist with safety training and participate in drills.
