Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson is seeking a proactive Houseperson to support housekeeping operations and deliver clean, welcoming spaces for guests. You will assist room attendants, maintain back-of-house areas, and help ensure timely guest service while following safety procedures and hotel standards.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable, able to work a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with team members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants by removing trash and soiled linen from carts and guest rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness in back-of-house areas using proper procedures and chemicals.
• Wash and return guest room glassware; deliver dirty glassware to Housekeeping as needed.
• Keep linen closets stocked and organized; vacuum hallways and transport trash to the compactor.
• Communicate effectively over radio and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Attend departmental meetings and provide coverage in related areas when needed.
• Know hotel facilities and operating hours to assist guests with accurate information.
