Job summary

The Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Security Ambassador to safeguard guests, team members, and assets while delivering exceptional guest service.

You will maintain a safe environment and a positive can-do attitude across all areas of the property. Key duties include greeting guests, checking IDs, enforcing rules, handling incidents, responding to emergencies, and coordinating with security teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years in security with guest service focus preferred.
• Must be able to work Grave Shift 11:30 pm to 8:00 am.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by regulatory entities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and a warm welcome.
• Check IDs of guests entering the casino and hotels; refuse entry to under 21 or prohibited persons.
• Explain rules, regulations and code of conduct for the casino and hotels.
• Interact with the public in a professional manner when assisting, giving directions or responding to inquiries.
• Assist with customer disputes, intoxicated subjects, criminal matters and traffic control.
• Resolve complaints within scope of authority or refer to management.
• Notify supervisor, manager, surveillance and/or Casino and Hotel Operations Manager of any unusual events, incidents or crimes.
• Respond to medical or fire emergencies, such as sick or injured guests.
• Operate the Security Dispatch Office and communicate via two-way radio and telephone as required.
• Monitor entry points and maintain visitor/vendor logs.
• Monitor guest and team member movement in dining and gaming areas.
• Control traffic in valet and parking areas.
• Write and investigate first reports of injury.
• React to incidents and accidents among guests and staff.
• Assist in transporting money, chips, tokens, and markers.
• Report safety hazards and ensure the safety of all guests and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
