Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a housekeeping attendant to clean guest rooms and maintain the hotel's cleanliness standards in Centre County. You will report maintenance issues and assist guests with requests while upholding confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

Experience in hotel cleaning is preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
• Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
