Job summary

State College Fairfield Inn is seeking a hotel housekeeping attendant to maintain cleanliness and guest room quality. You will report deficiencies, handle guest requests, and ensure security in guest rooms.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of cleaning experience, basic chemical handling knowledge, and are able to communicate with guests and staff. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; familiarity with local attractions is helpful.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

• Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
