Job summary

The Rose Hotel in Rosemont, IL is seeking a House Attendant to keep guest rooms and public areas pristine according to hotel standards. You will make beds, dust, vacuum, replenish amenities, and report maintenance issues promptly.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, plus strong customer service and communication skills are essential to ensure an excellent guest experience and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and follow task priorities.
• Assist room attendants by delivering and collecting supplies, linen, and amenities.
• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, restrooms, furniture, and public areas (e.g., stairwells, hallways, fitness center, laundry room).
• Replenish supplies and maintain organized linen closets.
• Complete daily housekeeping reports.
• Follow safety and security guidelines, using cleaning chemicals as needed.
• Assist guests and team members courteously, maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Good vision for cleaning tasks.
