Job summary

Hotel Equities seeks a Room Attendant for the Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn IL to clean guest rooms and public areas to high standards. You will restock supplies and assist with laundry duties while maintaining a friendly, efficient service attitude.

The role requires physical fitness, the ability to handle cleaning equipment, and flexibility to work nights, weekends or holidays. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or cleaning standards.
• Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares guest rooms and public areas by meeting established standards of cleanliness and propriety to assure guest satisfaction and maximize revenues.
• Strips bed of all linen and remakes with fresh, checking bedspread, blankets and bed pads for cleanliness.
• Vacuums rooms, public areas and hallways and handles light maintenance reporting.
• Replaces towels, soaps and room amenities and restocks literature as needed.
• Assists the laundry department by retrieving soiled linen and sorting laundry.
