Job summary

Baltimore McHenry Row Courtyard is hiring a hotel housekeeping associate to maintain guest rooms and common areas to brand standards. You will respond to guest requests, report maintenance issues, and ensure guest privacy and security during shifts.

The role requires a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work weekends or varied shifts. Prior cleaning experience is preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in serving a diverse guest base.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Observe house rules, safety procedures, and security procedures.
• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
