Job summary

GLASSBORO COURTYARD is seeking a courteous Housekeeping Attendant to clean guest rooms and support hotel operations. You must maintain established cleanliness standards and complete assigned tasks while following safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities include reporting maintenance issues, assisting guests with requests, and ensuring privacy and security of all rooms. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Job description

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
• Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
