Job summary

• Answers telephone inquiries in a friendly, courteous manner and processes reservations.
• Applies up-selling techniques to reservations requests.
• Provides availability, room types and rate information.
• Suggests rooms based on guest needs and preferences.
• Inputs and retrieves data using a computer reservation system accurately.
• Promotes hotel facilities and services and answers questions about local attractions.
• Supports yield management strategies to maximize revenue.
• Processes reservation deposits via cash, checks, credit cards or vouchers.
