Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort in Alpine, CA is seeking a friendly Front Desk/Reservations Agent to handle guest inquiries, describe rooms and amenities, and accurately enter bookings into central reservation systems.

You will maintain an inventory of vacancies, assist with dates and waitlists, act as concierge with directions and local information, welcome guests per standards, and collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Guest service experience preferred.
• Must be age 21 years or older.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to type 35 WPM.
• Ability to learn hotel/hospitality systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming calls and describes rooms, amenities, and rates.
• Accurately enters room bookings into central reservation systems.
• Maintains an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
• Assists with dates and waitlists and calls back for cancelled rooms.
• Acts as concierge with directions and information on property amenities and local area.
• Welcomes guests and adheres to company standards; shows appreciation.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and supports team goals.
