Job summary

Avalon Senior Living in Indianapolis is seeking a friendly Guest Relations professional to welcome residents, families, and visitors and to serve as a communications hub for the community.

You will handle inquiries, coordinate tours, and support daily administrative tasks, ensuring a warm, informative experience for all guests. This role requires empathy, organization, and a commitment to resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism; be a positive leader.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and good decision-making skills.
• Maintain good working relationships with residents and co-workers.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds and sit for long periods.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents, families, new employees, and vendors upon entrance
• Act as the point of reference for residents and families who need assistance or information
• Monitor visitor access and report concerns to the Executive Director
• Ensure first-impression standards for residents and visitors in the entryway and common areas
• Participates in and support the team in meeting resident needs
• Prepare tour folders for prospects and walk-in tours
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Answer calls, assess callers' needs, forward calls to appropriate personnel; assist to ensure customer needs are met appropriately and quickly
