Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a capable General Manager to lead a high-volume store in West Jefferson, NC. You will supervise up to 45 associates, build a culture of excellence, and drive profitability through strategic planning and exceptional guest service.

You will recruit, train, and coach team members, providing feedback and performance management while ensuring safety, compliance, and quality standards. A fast-paced environment rewards initiative and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail, food service, or restaurant management experience (high-volume preferred).
• Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills.
• Ability to analyze business metrics and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of labor laws and staffing best practices.
• Must obtain and maintain Manager Food Handler certification (and alcohol server permit, if required).
