Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a General Manager to lead a fast-paced store and drive profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee up to 45 employees, recruit and develop a high-performing team, and implement strategies to achieve sales, labor, and safety goals.

You will analyze key metrics, manage inventory, and ensure adherence to food handling and safety standards, while promoting a guest-obsessed culture and continuous coaching.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail, food service, or restaurant management experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Ability to analyze business metrics and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of labor laws and staffing best practices.
• High School Diploma or GED was completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a winning team with up to 45 employees.
• Foster a guest-obsessed culture with exceptional guest interactions.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff for growth opportunities.
• Provide ongoing feedback, coaching and performance management.
• Drive store performance, profitability, and schedule/payroll execution.
• Analyze sales, margin, and labor data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain food safety standards and ensure clean, organized store.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to meet compliance and vendor needs.
