Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking a retail associate to market merchandise to guests and maintain the retail area. You will stock inventory, handle cash and credit transactions, and ensure guest satisfaction within policy guidelines.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, cashiering experience, and the ability to obtain licenses/certifications. It is ideal to have prior gaming industry experience and the flexibility to work holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cashiering/money handling experience.
• Gaming industry experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Virginia Lottery.

Responsibilities

• Markets retail merchandise to guests.
• Stock and restock the Retail area to maintain inventory of goods.
• Perform cash and/or credit transactions with guests.
• Maintains current knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures guest satisfaction with effective communication and assistance within company policies.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
