Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality at Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico is seeking a highly motivated Restaurant Server to greet guests, present menus, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with accuracy and a welcoming demeanor.

You will maintain knowledge of the menu, accommodate allergy requests, work with a team to ensure timely service, and help create memorable experiences for guests at a world-class resort.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to learn food, wine, spirits, cocktails, and menu specifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally and establish a welcoming dining experience.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all food menus, beverage offerings, daily specials, ingredients, preparation methods, and appropriate accompaniments.
• Maintain knowledge of allergens and dietary restrictions and follow established procedures when communicating allergy-related requests.
• Explain menu items clearly and confidently and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter all items correctly into the POS system.
• Deliver and present food and beverages according to established service standards.
• Check guest satisfaction after service and take action if recovery is required.
• Process guest checks, room charges, credit cards, cash, discounts, and other forms of payment accurately.
