Job summary

Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks a customer-focused Restaurant Server. You will be the face of our restaurant, delivering the guest experience with attentive service and by presenting menus and beverages with enthusiasm.

This role requires strong communication, a willingness to learn menu details, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
Ability to communicate professionally with guests and colleagues.
Ability to operate the designated POS system.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and professionally and establish a welcoming dining experience.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all food menus, beverage offerings, daily specials, ingredients, preparation methods, and appropriate accompaniments.
Maintain knowledge of allergens and dietary restrictions and follow established procedures when communicating allergy-related requests.
Explain menu items clearly and confidently and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
Actively suggest appetizers, beverages, wine, enhancements, side dishes, desserts, and after-dinner beverages when appropriate.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter all items correctly into the POS system.
