Job summary

DoubleTree Salt Lake is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to provide warm, efficient service to guests in our Food & Beverage team. You will take orders, deliver dishes, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding Hilton standards and brand expectations.

The ideal candidate brings prior serving or hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance. This role supports a busy dining room in a hotel setting and involves POS usage, cash handling, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education minimal: high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in serving or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take and input accurate food and beverage orders.
• Deliver items promptly with correct presentation and temperature.
• Check back with guests and anticipate needs.
• Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts.
• Maintain table cleanliness and assist with dining room setup.
• Communicate guest needs to management or kitchen.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
