Job summary

HRI Hospitality is hiring a Restaurant Server in Salt Lake City to deliver warm, efficient, and knowledgeable service to guests in our Food & Beverage department. You will take orders, input them into the POS, serve meals and beverages, and ensure a memorable dining experience while upholding brand standards.

Ideal candidates have prior serving or hospitality experience, are comfortable with cash handling, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
• Check back with guests regularly and anticipate needs.
• Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts accurately.
• Maintain table cleanliness, reset tables, and support dining room organization.
• Communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus.
