Job summary

The ideal candidate brings prior serving or hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance. This role supports a busy dining room in a hotel setting and involves POS usage, cash handling, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education minimal: high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in serving or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take and input accurate food and beverage orders.
• Deliver items promptly with correct presentation and temperature.
• Check back with guests and anticipate needs.
• Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts.

The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing warm, efficient, and knowledgeable service to guests. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus.
• Skills and Knowledge Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Knowledge of menu items, allergens, food preparation, and beverage options.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
