Job summary

Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek is seeking a guest-focused server for our hotel restaurant. You will greet guests, take and relay orders, and ensure accurate delivery with condiments and beverages.

This role supports a fast-paced, guest-centric environment at the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. We emphasize teamwork, professional appearance, and adherence to service standards while offering growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package through HEI Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Willing to pitch in and help coworkers.
• Able to operate POS and learn procedures.
• Able to transport trays up to 30 lbs and deliver orders.

Responsibilities

• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up.
• Greet guests and explain specials and promos.
• Input the order into the POS and inform the kitchen.
• Retrieve and deliver orders with condiments.
• Abide by State, Federal and Corporate requirements for serving alcohol.
• Replenish beverages and promote desserts or specialty coffees.
• Present the check promptly and close out the order.
• Maintain attendance and be available to work regularly.
