Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Alexandria, VA. You will help keep guest rooms and public areas in top condition and ensure that all building systems function safely and reliably. Your role supports a welcoming, clean, and well-maintained environment for guests and associates.

You will follow the Green Shield Binder, work with minimal supervision, and respond quickly to maintenance requests while documenting inspections and repairs to company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow safety instructions.
• Basic writing and reporting skills.
• Ability to use measurements and basic math.
• Ability to interact professionally with guests and associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance to ensure equipment operates and premises are pristine.
• Respond to guest requests and complete work orders promptly.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of public areas as assigned.
• Maintain records of PM and inspections.
• Follow Green Shield Binder procedures and SOPs.
• Coordinate with management and vendors.
