Job summary

Le Méridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel in Uptown Charlotte is seeking a part-time Bartender to join our service-focused team. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction and a smooth, efficient bar operation during AM and PM shifts.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 months of related experience, strong communication, and a commitment to responsible alcohol service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months related experience.
• Excellent communication skills and guest service.
• Ability to obtain required licenses/certificates.
• CPR and first aid training preferred.
• Proficiency in English; additional language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Take beverage and food orders while providing exceptional guest service.
• Verify guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly.
• Process payments accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Set up and break down the bar before and after each shift.
• Report guest concerns and inventory needs to management.
• Follow all company policies and food, beverage, health, and safety regulations.
• Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
