Job summary

OTO Development is seeking a Bartender to deliver friendly, efficient service in a hotel setting in Charlotte, NC. You will greet guests, prepare cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, assist with light snacks, and ensure orders are prompted and accurate.

The ideal candidate is 21+, possesses strong mixology skills, can stand for long periods, communicates effectively with guests and coworkers, and works a varied schedule including evenings, nights, and weekends in a hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beverages.
• In-depth knowledge of alcohol and craft cocktail bars; strong mixology skills.
• Ability to stand for up to eight hours.
• Effective communication with guests and teammates.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely manner.
• Prepare a large amount of alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Interact positively with customers, take orders, and serve a variety of snacks and drinks.
• Assess customers' needs and preferences while making knowledgeable recommendations.
• Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Operate cash registers, collect payments from customers, and return change.
• Manage bar operation; including ordering and maintaining liquor and bar supplies.
