Job summary

Bear Creek is seeking a Rental Technician to assist guests with ski and snowboard equipment, ensuring proper fit, binding adjustments, and safe setup. You will interact with guests, explain equipment use, and help maintain a clean, efficient rental area within the Bear Creek facility.

The role emphasizes world-class guest service, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, including assisting with returns and equipment checks throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Guest service experience preferred.
• Availability during peak operating times, i.e.: weekends, holidays and special events.

Responsibilities

• Properly fit customers with rental equipment
• Accurately read binding charts and adjust bindings
• Properly attach and adjust snowboard bindings
• Explain proper use of skis, snowboards and bindings
• Enter equipment barcodes into the computer accurately
• Visually inspect all skis to ensure they are in good working order
• Cross train in all other areas of the rental operation
• Keep a clean and efficient working environment
• Keep guest areas clean inside and outside the rental building
• Provide world class guest service to all customers
• Assist with rental returns
• Be responsible for Bear Creek tools
