Job summary

Bear Creek is seeking a Rental Technician focused on guest service to help create a memorable experience for guests. The role involves safely setting up skis and/or snowboards, ensuring proper fit with guests, and using provided tools to adjust bindings.

Responsibilities include fitting customers, explaining equipment use, entering barcodes, inspecting gear, and maintaining a clean rental area. This position supports team duties and aims to deliver world class service during peak times.

Qualifications

• Guest service experience preferred (including helping guests create a memorable experience).
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain equipment use clearly.
• Detail oriented with ability to read binding charts and adjust bindings.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to cross-train in all rental operation areas and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities

• Fit customers with rental equipment and ensure proper sizing.
• Read binding charts accurately and adjust bindings.
• Explain proper use of skis, snowboards and bindings.
• Enter equipment barcodes into the computer accurately.
• Inspect skis for good working order and assist with rental returns.
• Provide world class guest service and maintain a clean work area.
